👨Hi, do you know if there's a laundromat nearby?

👩Umm... yeah, I've heard there's one just a few blocks away and it's called Foam or something like that. Sorry. I'm new here, so I'm still not familiar with this area.

Yes , I have. When I went to Fukuoka I asked hotel receptionist if there was good food cart locals love. It was not touristic and street foods were amazing!

Yes I have. I experienced a similar situation to today’s topic. When I went to Disneyland in California last year, I wanted to do a laundry but I couldn’t find a laundry room in a hotel. So I asked a hotel receptionist if there was a laundry room there. She told me there was one in a different building. I also needed coins, so I exchanged money for it.

Yes, I have. I love unknown good place.

So, during a trip, l usually visit, but I always get lost.

I ask people the way to get there, but I can only understand about 10% what they are saying in English.

So, it takes time.

So, I felt like that was my weakness not being able to say what I wanted to say.

I often feel disappointed in myself. I always get worry if I'm making sense.

Great work!

I would say:

"Yes, I have. I love visiting new places. So on trips I usually explore, but I always get lost. I ask people for directions, but I can only understand about 10% of what they're saying in English. So, it takes time. I felt like my weakness was not being able to say what I wanted to. I often feel disappointed in myself and worry if I'm making sense."

Yes I have. When I went on a business trip to Philadelphia in the U.S, I asked a hotel receptionist if there was a grocery store selling tobacco nearby.

I would say:

“Yes I have. When I went on a business trip to Philadelphia, I asked a hotel receptionist if there was a grocery store nearby that sold tobacco.”

You could also say it like this:

“Yes I have. When I was in Philadelphia for a business trip, I asked the hotel receptionist if there was anywhere I could buy tobacco nearby.”
